Russia is hosting its biggest gathering of world leaders since its full-scale invasion of Ukraine two years ago. Analysts say the BRICS summit in Kazan is a bid to show the West that their mission to isolate Moscow has failed. It is also the first summit since the group added new members including Iran earlier this year. Among the new batch of countries trying to join BRICS is Malaysia. CNA’s Afifah Ariffin reports.
