New Delhi has woken up to another polluted day in what has been one of its most polluted weeks this year. The average air quality index has hovered between unhealthy and hazardous levels in India’s capital over the past few days, as fireworks further clouded seasonal haze. The perennial problem is raising new alarms over the public health risk that is said to kill about 12,000 people each year. Ishan Garg reports.
