Over 1,700 Singaporeans were in the countries the Indian Ocean tsunami swept through in 2004. At least nine of them were killed and a dozen missing. One survivor, Lavan Vickneson, who was then 12 years old and on holiday with his family in the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo, sees his story as one of hope. Aslam Shah reports.
