European leaders have held an emergency summit in Paris to discuss the war in Ukraine. It comes ahead of the planned talks in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday (Feb 18) between United States and Russian officials – with European nations excluded. French President Emmanuel Macron says he spoke to his US counterpart Donald Trump shortly before the meeting got under way on Monday. Ross Cullen reports.
