The National University Hospital will boost its capacity as part of a major redevelopment project, increasing bed numbers from 1,200 to 1,500 by 2038. Speaking at NUH’s 40th anniversary celebrations, Minister for Health Mr Ong Ye Kung shared that half of the existing beds will be replaced by 2033. He says the redevelopment will improve access to top-tier healthcare for residents in the western region.
