A US trade court has put a block on sweeping global trade tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump. The White House was quick to file an appeal against the Court of International Trade, which had ruled that an emergency law invoked by the White House as justification for imposing the tariffs did not give the president the unilateral authority he needed. The ruling by the three-judge panel means the White House has 10 days to formally reverse the tariffs. Kate Fisher reports from Washington DC.
