As a migrant worker in Singapore, Bangladeshi national Fazley Elahi – or Rubel, as his friends call him – provided for his family back home. He also served his community in Singapore, founding a cultural show and starting a library for fellow migrant workers. But now, his time in Singapore has been cut short by an incurable cancer, and he has returned to Bangladesh to live out the rest of his days with his family.
