BANGKOK : Thailand plans to borrow 2.59 trillion baht ($77.8 billion) for the 2025 fiscal year starting Oct. 1, a finance ministry official said on Wednesday, confirming a Reuters report from the previous day.
The debt plan should not concern markets, Jindarat Viriyataveekul, public debt advisor at the finance ministry, told reporters.
