Ukraine may not be getting its NATO membership, but bloc members are committing to more support for the war-torn country. Japan and South Korea have been invited as observers for the third year — reflecting expanding security concerns as the bloc marks 75 years since its founding. Associate Professor Reuben Wong, deputy head of the political science department at the National University of Singapore, shared more about NATO’s role and development in its 75-year history.
