EU leaders meeting in Brussels have vowed a firm response if United States President Donald Trump follows through on his threat of imposing more tariffs. The informal meeting also involved Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer and NATO chief Mark Rutte to brainstorm ways to ramp up European defence spending.
