Farrer Park residents can now learn more about their neighbourhood’s sporting history. Once a hotbed for a variety of sports up until the 1980s, the estate now has murals honouring some of the nation’s greatest athletes as well as sport-themed artworks. Both are part of efforts to preserve the area’s heritage.
