The National Museum of Singapore hopes to see more locals come through its doors when it fully reopens by the end of 2026. It adds that the first of its revamped permanent galleries, which is opening on Aug 8, will be a sneak peek of its full museum refresh, which includes efforts to be a social space that reflects contemporary events. Muhammad Bahajjaj speaks with the museum’s director.
