A white BMW veered into a building in Jalan Besar and hit a pedestrian in the process on March 2 evening.
The incident was caught on video.
In response to Mothership‘s queries, the police said four people, aged 32 to 68, were conveyed to hospital.
The incident occurred at the junction of Jalan Besar and Mayo Street.
In the clip, the white BMW could be seen swerving into the ground floor shop of Hotel 81, the Rochor branch of the hotel chain.
The BMW appeared to have veered right in an attempt to avoid hitting the car in front of it which had come to a stop.
The BMW appeared to hit a pedestrian wearing a collared shirt and carrying a black backpack.
The car also run over a road sign and street sign that read “Mayo Street”.
The front glass door of the ground floor convenience store of the building shattered.
Members of the public who witnessed the accident appeared at the scene in an attempt to help.

The bonnet of the BMW was badly damaged.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted to the accident at 8:35pm.
The SCDF said four people were conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
The police said a 68-year-old man is assisting with the investigations.
