Hong Kong police have found what they believe to be Abby Choi’s head on Feb. 26. This comes two days after they found parts of her remains in a house in Lung Mei Village, which is located in the Tai Po District.

Her ex-husband, along with his elder brother and parents, were arrested in connection with the murder.

Forensics discovered her head in one of the soup pots

According to HK01, the head was found in one of the two soup pots which were in the house.

When the police discovered the soup pots on Feb. 24, they were reportedly almost filled to the brim, and that there was minced meat in them. At the time, authorities could only confirm that there was human tissue in the pots.

The pots were sent for testing.

On Feb. 26, forensics are reported to have found her head, along with some ribs, in one of the pots, wrote HK01.

According to reports, the skull is somewhat intact. However, it’s believed that there was at least one attempt to crush it. Her hair was no longer attached to the skull after cooking.

Forensics also discovered a small amount of minced meat, along with carrots and green radishes.

The victim’s arms and torso are reported to still be missing.

    Search still under way

Police have continued their search for her other body parts on Feb. 26.

On top of Tseung Kwan O Cemetery, which they have been searching since Feb. 25, they also checked the drains in Lung Mei Village.

    Ex-husband’s relatives charged with murder

HK01 reported that two relatives of Choi’s ex-husband, 28-year-old Alex Kwong, have been charged with murder.

Kwong’s 65-year-old father and 31-year-old brother have been charged with murder.

Kwong’s 63-year-old mother was charged with perverting the course of justice.

The case will be heard in court on Feb. 27.

According to HK01, Kwong is in hospital after complaining about feeling unwell after his arrest.
