A 59-year-old man has been arrested for his suspected involvement in the murder of a 61-year-old man.
The police were alerted to a case of murder at a residential unit at Redhill Close on Mar. 17, 2023 at about 10:50am.
According to a press release by the police, upon arrival, officers found a 61-year-old man lying motionless with multiple wounds inside the unit.
He was subsequently pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
The 59-year-old man, who is a co-tenant of the deceased, was arrested at the scene.
Police investigations are ongoing.
The man will be charged in court on Mar. 17, 2023 with murder under Section 302(1) of the Penal Code 1871.
The offence of murder carries the death penalty.
