Most drivers probably have a “preferred” parking lot, but one man might have taken it a bit too far.
A bus driver claimed that a man had thrown a packet of urine onto his bus, all because he parked in that man’s favourite bus parking lot in a Tampines heavy vehicle car park.
Caught on video
The supposed victim of the incident uploaded a video taken on Jan. 31 to SG Roads Vigilante.
In the video, a man wearing a helmet can be seen taking a bottle from his motorcycle’s rear box and spraying an unknown liquid onto the bus window.
While it was not clear how he knew, the victim claimed the “unknown liquid” was urine, and that he wasn’t the first victim.
“Dominated” parking lot for at least a year
According to SG Road Vigilante, the man is supposedly another bus driver who favoured that particular lot. He would park his bus in the car park then use a motorcycle to go elsewhere.
The man allegedly wanted to park his motorcycle beside his bus, and it was an easy lot for him to park in reverse.
According to netizens, the man has been doing the same thing for months, and another claimed to fall prey to his pranks a year ago.
Previous vandals fined
It is not unheard of for people to vandalise vehicles for their favourite parking lot; some were even penalised.
As reported by Shin Min Daily News last September, a crane operator was fined S$2,000 for scratching two cars parked in his favourite lot at an NUS car park.
He claimed he usually parked in the same car park before heading to work and would park in his favourite parking lot, number 234, whenever possible.
He had vandalised the cars on the two occasions as he could not find any parking lot in the car park, and he wanted to “vent his frustration.”
