The world is bracing for US President Donald’s Trump “Liberation Day” — he will be rolling out reciprocal tariffs at 4pm local time (4am Singapore/Hong Kong time). It is unclear what the tariffs will target, but Washington has said they will take effect immediately. Mr Alex Capri, senior lecturer at NUS Business School, discussed the pending White House announcement.
