More than 4,000 performers are taking part in this year’s Singapore Chingay Parade at the F1 Pit Building. The event also features a record number of 23 floats this year. The food-inspired floats celebrate Singapore’s multiculturalism through its people’s love for food. Chingay will also be nominated for the UNESCO cultural heritage list this year. Nicolas Ng reports.
