Spain and Portugal are seeing power almost fully restored following a crippling blackout on the Iberian Peninsula. A preliminary assessment by Spain’s grid operator has ruled out a cyberattack but officials will still need to get to the bottom of what caused the widespread outage. CNA’s Loke Wei Sue speaks with José Antonio Aguado Sánchez, Department Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Málaga, about the impact of the blackout across Spain and Portugal.
