An 80-member Singapore Civil Defence Force team left for Myanmar on Saturday (Mar 29) afternoon to help with search and rescue operations following the deadly earthquake there. The Operation Lionheart contingent includes regulars as well as full-time and operationally ready National Servicemen, and their deployment is expected to last for up to 14 days. Aslam Shah joined them as they bid farewell to their families.
