South Korean actor Song Joong-ki might be returning to the small screen after a two-year hiatus.
The 38-year-old’s agency, HighZium studio, said on Thursday (Jan 18) that the actor is reviewing the offer to star in the new drama titled My Youth.
My Youth will be written by scriptwriter Park Si Hyun, known for her work on JTBC’s Run On, and produced by HighZium studio.
No other details of the drama have been released.
Song’s last appearance on television was in December 2022, when he played the character Jin Do-jun in JTBC’s Reborn Rich. He also starred in the film Hopeless, which was screened at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
Should Song accept this role, it will be his first project since the birth of his son whom he shares with wife Katy Louise Saunders.
