SHEFFIELD :Fulham fought back from two goals down to earn a thrilling 3-3 draw at Sheffield United on Saturday after Bobby Decordova-Reid and Rodrigo Muniz struck late in the second half to earn a point against the bottom side.

United, who earned their first point at home since January in the second-half goalfest, remain seven points from safety zone with 15 points from 29 matches while Fulham are 12th with 39 points from 30 matches.

The visitors started well and almost took the lead in the 37th minute through Rodrigo Muniz, but United keeper Ivo Grbic deflected the ball onto the post. The first half ended goalless.

United broke the deadlock in the 58th minute when Oli McBurnie’s cross from the left found Ben Brereton Diaz in the box for a quick tap into the net.

But Fulham equalised just four minutes later through Joao Palhinha’s header off Andreas Pereira’s corner.

McBurnie restored United’s lead in the 68th minute, with Brereton Diaz returning the favour with an assist just two minutes before he got his second goal off Gustavo Hamer’s cross from the left.

Celebrations had already begun in the stands at Bramall Lane in anticipation of a win, but substitute Decordova-Reid, who had replaced Pereira a minute ago, found the net from outside the box to bring Fulham back into the game.

Muniz completed the comeback three minutes into added time with an incredible overhead bicycle kick off Adama Traore’s pass, leaving Grbic with no chance.
