The US is trying to play down concerns ahead of controversial talks on the Ukraine war in Saudi Arabia in the coming days. The meeting will see only the US and Russia at the table, apparently without Ukraine and Europe. US President Donald Trump said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be involved, but did not say when. Meanwhile, America’s top diplomat Marco Rubio said Europe could be brought in if talks advanced. However, he warned there is “a long way to go” before starting any peace negotiations. Trent Murray reports from the Munich Security Conference.
