The US embassy in Kyiv has temporarily shut, after receiving a warning of a “potential significant” air attack. Washington also urged Americans in the Ukrainian capital to be prepared to take shelter in the event of an air alert. There’s been growing concerns of a major Russian retaliation, after Ukraine launched long-range ATACMS missiles provided by the US into Russian territory for the first time.
