The US special envoy to Ukraine is in Kyiv. Keith Kellogg said that he is there to hear the concerns of a country now almost three years into a full-scale Russian invasion. Mr Kellogg will meet the Ukrainian president and the Commander in Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, and share his findings with US President Donald Trump. Kyiv has repeatedly stressed it needs Washington to deliver security guarantees, sufficient to deter Moscow from launching a new invasion after a peace deal is reached. Stuart Smith and Will Denselow report.
