Abu Dhabi Reveals Revised Penalty

On Tuesday, February 18, Abu Dhabi's Department of Municipalities and Transport revealed revised penalties.

In 2024, Abu Dhabi Police issued 670 fines to violators for littering and using spray paints on this day!

The fine for the first violation is AED500, and the same for the second violation is AED1,000 and AED2,000.

These are wastes that result from eating & drinking and if they’re disposed of outside designated containers First violation: AED500 Second violation: AED1,000 Second violation: AED2,000

The fine for the first violation is AED1,000, the same for the second violation is AED2,000 and AED4,000.

The authority had also announced that these fines could be imposed on the type of violation and its frequency as well.
