With the onset of winter, you all must be experiencing a slight chill in the air! So, to ensure you eat well and warm during the season change, we found a nice soup recipe for you all.

Besan Soup Recipe

Chef Neha Deepak Shah took to Instagram to share a Besan Soup recipe that you can easily make at home! 

Ingredients

3 tbsp besan 3 tbsp curd 2 ½ cup water 2-3 garlic cloves 1 green chilli 1 tbsp coriander Stem 2 slices of ginger Salt 1 tsp oil 1/2 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp cumin powder Carrots Beans Corn Spring onion Pepper Chilli Flakes Chilli Oil

Here’s What You Need To Do

1. In a bowl, mix besan, curd, and water. 2. Ensure there are no lumps. 

Follow These Steps

3. Now, grind some garlic, green chilli, coriander stem, and salt. 4. In a pan, add some oil and saute the mixture in it.

Let It Cook

5.  Add the besan mixture to the pan and cook it on low flame till the mixture begins to thicken.

Add In The Spices 

6. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and cumin powder & mix it well. 7. Continue cooking on low flame. 8. Once the soup thickens, take it off the heat and sieve, if necessary. 

Blanch The Veggies 

9. Blanch your veggies and add salt, pepper, and chilli flakes to them. 10. Add the veggies to the soup along with some chilli oil for flavour. 

Serve Hot & Enjoy!
