Enjoy the chills of the winter season by relishing homemade decadent eggless banana bread. Chef Kunal Kapur shared a simple recipe to prepare this deliciousness.

• 5 medium bananas • 180g sugar • 180gm curd • 60gm oil/ melted butter • 2tsp vanilla extract • 180gm flour • ½ tsp baking powder • ½ tsp baking soda • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder • A handful of crushed walnuts

• Add overripe bananas, sugar, curd, oil/ melted butter, and vanilla extract to a blender and mix into a smooth paste.

• Next, you need to make a powder of all dry ingredients. Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon powder in a bowl and mix.

• To the dry mixture, pour the banana paste. Fold and mix everything gently for a lump-free batter. Add crushed walnuts too.

• Line a mould with butter paper and transfer the mixture. Garnish with a few pieces of bananas and walnuts and bake it in a preheated oven at 180°C for about an hour.

• To make banana bread in a kadhai, add salt and heat for 10-15 minutes minutes. Next, place a bowl and the cake mould, put on a lid, and cook for around an hour on medium heat.

Cool the eggless banana bread for some time, cut it into pieces, and enjoy.
