Celebrate the winter season's chills and Christmas festivities by relishing homemade Baileys Eggnog. Chef Saloni Kukreja shared a simple recipe for this egg-milk punch.
• 2 cups milk • 1 cup heavy cream • 6 egg yolks • 1/2 cup castor sugar • Pinch of salt • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • 1/4 cup (60ml) Baileys • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon powder • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg powder • 1/8 teaspoon clove powder

• In the first step, separate egg yolks from the whites. Add castor sugar to yolks and whisk till you get a foamy and creamy mixture.
• Next, combine milk with heavy cream. Boil this mixture for a few minutes.

• Pour a ladle of boiled milk and cream into the frothy egg yolk mixture. Make sure to whisk continuously.

• Transfer the entire milk and egg mixture to the milk and cream saucepan and boil over low heat. Cook till the consistency thickens.
• Turn off the heat and add cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, clove powder, vanilla extract, and salt.

• Strain the flavourful mixture and refrigerate it for a few hours.

• Once done, pour 30ml of Baileys and chilled eggnog into a glass.
