Chef Aruna Vijay shared an easy and mouth-watering Goondh Sandesh on Instagram and it is perfect for the festive season.
1 litre milk 1.5 tsp vinegar 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp powdered sugar 1 tsp cardamom powder Kesar Ghee 1/3 cup gond Chopped nuts Dried rose petals

1. Start by boiling the milk. 2. Once it comes to a boil, put in the vinegar and stir well till the milk curdles.
3. Sieve it over a muslin cloth and wash it with water. 4. Squeeze out the excess water and let the chhena set for some time.
5. Now, transfer the chhena to a blender. 6. Add in some powdered sugar, cardamom powder and kesar, and blend till you get a smooth paste. 7. Transfer it into a piping bag.
8. In another pan, add in some ghee. 9. Once hot, fry the gond till it gets a golden hue. 10. Then, toss them in powdered sugar.
11. Now, in a shot glass or bowl, pipe in the chhena mix & top it with fried gond. 12. Add chopped nuts and dried rose petals for garnishing.
