• 350 gm beetroot • 3 tbsp yellow mustard seeds • 1½ tsp red chilli powder • 1 tsp salt • 1 tsp black salt • 1 tsp asafoetida • 5-6 cups of water

• Start by washing beetroot thoroughly, chopping them into pieces, and adding them in a glass jar.

• Next, use a mortar and pestle to grind mustard seeds and add the coarse paste to the jar.

• In the next step, add red chilli powder, salt, black salt, asafoetida, and water and stir all ingredients well.

• Cover the jar with a thin cloth piece and keep it under the sun for 4-5 days.
