Gorge on a plate of jalebi chaat loaded with tangy flavours of chutneys and sweetness of jalebi. Chef Aruna Vijay shared a recipe for this mouth-watering preparation.

• 1/2 cup maida • 1/4 tsp baking soda • 1/2 tbsp + 1/2 tsp ghee • 1/8 cup curd • 1/4 cup water • Oil • Whisked curd • Imli chutney • Green chutney • Red chilli powder • Salt • Cumin powder • Sev • Coriander leaves

• To make jalebi batter, mix maida, baking soda, ghee, and curd with water. Whisk all ingredients to get a smooth textured mixture.

• Fill a piping bag with the freshly made jalebi batter.

• Heat oil in a kadhai and shape jalebis in it using the piping bag. Cook both sides for crispy and golden sweets.

• The next step is to garnish the chaat. Place lots of jalebis on a serving dish and layer them with whisked curd, imli chutney, and green chutney. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, sev, and coriander leaves and enjoy the deliciousness.
