-Toor dal -Tomatoes (chopped) -Amlas -Water -Green chillies -Curry leaves -Coriander Stem -Salt -Turmeric Powder -Jeera (freshly pounded) -Pepper -Garlic -Coriander leaves -Dry red chillies -Oil -Mustard seeds

First, boil toor dal with some salt and turmeric powder.

Then, add chopped tomatoes, water, green chillies, coriander stem, salt, jeera, pepper, garlic and curry leaves and cook it well.

Add the pounded spices, cover and cook this mixture till the amlas soften.

Then, add the boiled dal and mix well.

Finally, add a tadka of oil, mustard seeds and dry red chillies and fresh coriander leaves. Your Amla Rasam is ready. Sip it like a soup or having it with rice.
