Diya Shah shared a recipe for Baati in a microwave. So, without using a tandoor or oven, you can still make this in a microwave.

-3 cups of flour -90 ml of oil/ ghee -Salt as per taste -200 ml of water

- Start by mixing flour, salt and oil/ ghee until you get a crumbly texture. Then, add water and knead well till you knead a tight dough.

Then, divide the dough into equal sized dough balls and use stretch and fold technique in all of them. Knead them individually to form circular baatis.

Brush them with some ghee, make a cross on them (2 cm deep) and place them on a baking rack.

Bake the baatis in a microwave conection at 200 °C for 30 minutes.

Flip each baati to cook it on both sides and let it bake for another 15 minutes. Your microwave baked baatis are ready. Pair with dal and enjoy!
