• 1 cup whole wheat flour • 1 tsp salt • 3 tbsp curd • 1 cup water • 2 tbsp oil • 1/2 tsp asafoetida • 1 tsp mustard seeds • 1 tsp cumin seeds • 1 sprig of curry leaves • 2 chopped green chillies • 2 tsp chopped ginger • 3/4 tsp chilli powder • Chopped onion • Chopped tomato • Chopped coriander leaves

• Add whole wheat flour, salt, curd, and baking soda to a mixing bowl.

• Add water to the ingredients to prepare a batter. Instead of pouring all the water at once, add little amounts gradually.

• Next, heat oil in a pan and temper asafoetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chillies, and ginger.

• Transfer tadka to the atta batter and sprinkle some red chilli powder too.

• Once done, spread a portion of batter on a pan and cook for some time. Add onion, tomato, coriander leaves, and a dash of oil. Cook both sides nicely.
