Makki Ka Gheriya is a Rajasthani savoury pudding made with maize flour. Manali Choubisa shared a good recipe.

- 3 cups of water - 1 tbsp of papad khar seasoning -1 tsp of cumin seeds -1 tsp of carom seeds -3 garlic cloves (crushed) -2 green chillies (crushed) -1/4 cup of peas -Coriander leaves -Salt -1 tsp of chilli flakes - 1.5 tbsp of oil -1 cup of maize flour

Take a pot of hot water and add papad khar, carom seeds, cumin seeds into it.

Then, add the chilli flakes and crushed garlic, green chillies, peas, coriander leaves and salt. Let this mixture boil.

Then add the makki ka atta or maize flour into the simmering pot of water in intervals and keep mixing to avoid lumps.

Add sesame oil to adjust the consistency and make it luscious. Cook for two whistles in a pressure cooker.
