Sanjay Gandhi National Park's famous Van Rani is all set for a grand comeback with the resumptions of services.

Concerned teams and officials have already started working on the project to renovate the popular toy train at this iconic national park in Borivali. The plan is to wrap up by August 2025.

The Rail India Technical and Economic Service is managing the project to revive the toy train journeys. The restoration project has a budget of ₹40 crore.

According to a report by Mid-Day, the new toy train will be operated using electricity.
