1.Half a kilo of boneless meat 2. Few cloves of garlic 3. Black Peppercorns 4. Bay Leaves 5. handful of Raisins 6. Cardamom Pods 7. Cloves 8. Water 9. flour 10. salt

Ingredients

Add meat, all spices, raisins and water in a bowl.

Let it boil and get the lamb to be super tender. 

In another bowl, take 4 cup full of all purpose flour, add water and salt to it. 

Step 3

Knead it into a soft dough and let it rest for 20 mins covering it with a wet cloth. 

Step 5

If the meat has turned tender, add diced onions to it and stir it well. 

Step 6

Wet your hands with water, roll out a ball of dough and flatten it a bit. Add the meat mixture and wrap the dough around it. 

 Step 7 

Finally,  put it over an hot skillet and drizzle some clarified butter, ghee over it. Cook it evenly on both sides and serve hot.

Omani pies are best served with a side of hot sauce to dip in and then dig in!
