Prawn Koliwada, Anyone? 

Straight from the coasts of Mumbai, this Prawn Koliwada recipe by Sanket Lokhande will leave you licking your fingers.

Ingredients 

500 g of Prawn 1 tsp Turmeric Salt 1 Lemon (juice) 2 tbsp of Kashmiri mirch powder 1 tbsp of Dhaniya powder 1 tsp of Jeera powder 1 tsp of Chaat Masala 1 tsp of Amchur powder 1 tsp of Ajwain 1 tsp of Red Chilli powder 1 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste 1 egg white 2 tbsp of besan 1 tbsp of Corn Starch/ Rice Flour Water as required

Step 1 

Marinate the cleaned and devined prawns in the different spices and ginger-garlic paste.

Crush ajwain in your hands and add it as well.

Step 2 

Pour the lemon juice, besan, rice flour, egg white and water too and mix the prawns well.

Deep fry the batter- coated prawns in hot oil in medium to high heat.

Finally, garnish with freshly chopped coriander and chaat masala.
