Schezwan Water Chestnuts, Anyone?
Schezwan Water Chestnuts is a great Chinese appetiser for those fancy house parties. For_kandknife has a lovely recipe.

1 cup of water chestnuts (peeled and boiled) 1-2 tbsp of finely chopped garlic 1-2 dry red chillies 1 cup of spring onion greens 2 tbsp of Schezwan sauce 1-2 of tbsp water Salt to taste

Take a pan, add oil and then add chopped garlic, dry red chillies and spring onions. Keep stirring on medium heat.

Next, add the peeled and boiled water chestnuts to the pan.

Pour the Schezwan paste with water and keep stirring till the ingredients combine.

Add salt, toss the ingredients well and your dish is ready!
