4 to 5 long green chillies 2 garlic cloves Curry leaves Salt 1/2 tsp of jaggery 1 medium sized onion (chopped) 1 to 2 tbsp of tamarind extract (concentrated) Sesame oil

First, roast the chopped green chillies, curry leaves and garlic cloves in sesame oil till the chillies turn slightly brown.

Add the fried chilli mixture into a mortar with jaggery and salt and crush it with a pestle.

Then, add the chopped onion and crush that as well.

Next, pour the tamarind extract and a little sesame oil which was used for frying the chillies also into the mixture.
