If the rising cases of fake paneer in  the market have worried you, then  check out Chef Neha Deepak Shah’s homemade high-protein, low-fat  Masala Paneer recipe. 

Ingredients 

2 litres milk 1 tbsp salt 3 tsp vinegar+3 tsp water mixed 1 tsp chilli flakes ½ tsp crushed black pepper 1 Green chilli 2 tbsp chopped coriander

Step 1

1. Start by smoking up the paneer. 2. Take some spices in a bowl, and add smoked charcoal and a dash of oil to it. 3. Cover it with a lid for 10 mins to get that smokey flavour. 

Step 2

4. Heat the milk and add the  mentioned spices.

Step 3

5. Next, add vinegar/lemon water to curdle the milk. 6. Also, add coriander. 

Step 4

7. Strain out the preparer chhena and wash with cold water. 

Step 5

8. Put the chhena in a mould for  about half an hour and press it  for the best result.
