There has been increased scrutiny of Central Asian migrant workers in Russia following a deadly terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall near Moscow on Mar 22. Several suspects who were arrested over the killings are from Tajikistan. The country says hundreds of its citizens have been denied entry to Russia in recent weeks, but with Russia facing a labour shortage, it cannot afford to alienate its migrant workforce.
