Beijing is not backing down in the face of Washington’s latest tariffs. In an escalation of a trade war between the world’s biggest economies, China has imposed an additional 84% levy on the US, starting tomorrow. Despite growing concerns of a global recession, US President Donald Trump has insisted that the tariffs are making America money.
