French senators have passed a bill targeting the fast fashion industry, notably Chinese e-commerce firm Shein. The proposed law seeks to clamp down on retailers they say are flooding the market with cheap and easily disposable clothing. The proposed legislation includes sanctions against companies and bans fast fashion advertisements. Ross Cullen reports from Paris.
