A French court has found former surgeon Joel Le Scouarnec guilty in one of the country’s worst child sex abuse cases. He has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting 299 people. The 74-year-old faced 111 counts of rape and 189 sexual assaults. Most of the victims were children at the time. The abuse spanned 25 years. Ross Cullen reports from Paris.
