According to the email, “affected ticketholders can exchange their existing tickets for any other Hamilton performances within the same price category” and those who have travelled to Singapore for the show and aren’t able to catch another show “will be issued a full refund” upon submission of relevant travel documents.

A spokesperson from the Hamilton production told CNA Lifestyle: “Due to unexpected illness within the company, last night’s performance of Hamilton was, unfortunately, cancelled. Cancelling a performance is always the last resort and all measures were taken to avoid this. Despite this, the performance was unable to go ahead. All impacted patrons are being offered the opportunity to see the show on another occasion. Patrons who are unable to attend a different performance are being offered a full refund.”

The spokesperson also confirmed that “this evening’s performance of Hamilton [on May 2] will go ahead as scheduled”.
