Israel on Friday (Jun 13) carried out strikes in Iran, hitting dozens of nuclear targets and military sites. Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khameneim, has vowed “harsh punishment” in return. The attacks also killed Hossein Salami, the head of the country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and chief of staff Mohammad Bagheri.
Israel has since declared a state of emergency as it braces itself for a counterattack from Iran.
