TOKYO : Japan’s jobless rate in February rose to 2.6 per cent from 2.4 per cent in the previous month, government data showed on Friday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate compared with economists’ median forecast of 2.4 per cent.
The jobs-to-applicants ratio inched down to 1.26, from 1.27 in January, separate labour ministry data showed. The median forecast was for 1.27.
