SINGAPORE: Lawrence Wong has been sworn in as Singapore’s fourth Prime Minister, marking the country’s first leadership transition in 20 years. 

Mr Wong, 51, takes over from Mr Lee Hsien Loong, 72, who will remain in the Cabinet as Senior Minister.

Unveiling his first Cabinet lineup on Monday, Mr Wong sought to prioritise continuity and stability, appointing seasoned politician Gan Kim Yong as Deputy Prime Minister.
